New Instagram template size update!

3:4 (1080 x 1440 px) replaces the previous 1080 x 1350px

You don’t have to use this new size but it is recommended. More social media real estate - taller templates to capture more attention!

• This template design is not yet available in Canva but coming soon.
• Create this new 3:4 size using Canvas custom size option.
• Resize existing templates by resize - custom buttons.
• Not recommended for Ad templates as not currently supported by Meta.

Vertical feed post: previous 1080 x 1350 (ratio 4:5) or new 1080 x 1440 px (ratio 3:4)

Horizontal feed post: 1080 x 566 px (ratio 1.91:1)

Stories / Story Covers : 1080 x 1920 px (ratio 9:16)

Reels / Reel Covers : 1080 x 1920 px (ratio 9:16)

Which post size you choice - Remember Instagram displays your profile grid in a 3:4 aspect ratio. To avoid anything important being cut off, keep the main part of your image and text centred within that frame..
